The game continues shortly after the events of Assassin’s Creed, where Desmond is observing the cryptic messages written in blood, on his bedroom wall. Desmond’s prolonged exposure to the Animus has resulted in a “bleeding effect”; he assimilates his ancestor’s traits and abilities. Altaïr’s eagle vision allows Desmond to see the writing that has been washed away.

Lucy Stillman suddenly arrives at Desmond’s cell, and quickly ushers him into the Animus. Desmond briefly experiences the birth of his ancestor, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, while Lucy makes a copy of the Animus’ memory. The two then proceed to escape Abstergo, to one of the Assassins’ hideouts. After being introduced to fellow modern Assassins Shaun and Rebecca, Lucy explains that with their numbers dwindling, they require Desmond to assist them by becoming an Assassin. In order to do so, Lucy intends to train Desmond by exploiting the Animus’ bleeding effect, by absorbing years of experience within days. The Assassins have copied and created their own version of the Animus, labeled the Animus 2.0, and Desmond proceeds to enter Ezio’s life.

Ezio’s life takes place in the late 15th century in Italy during the Renaissance, approximately 300 years after Altaïr’s time. In 1476, young Ezio is currently living the life of a noble in Florence. He gets into a fight with Vieri Pazzi, the son of a prominent family, who insults his parents. After being reprimanded by his elder brother, Frederico, and his father, Giovanni, Ezio performs some tasks for his family, such as delivering a message for his father, and carrying some paintings with Leonardo da Vinci. His father and another man, Uberto Alberti, are seen discussing secret matters that seem urgent.

Eventually, guards raid the Auditore home and arrest Ezio’s father, Giovanni, his older brother, Frederico, and his younger brother, Petruccio. His mother and sister go into hiding with their servant Anetta. After meeting his father, Ezio retrieves several items hidden in his home, which include an Assassin’s outfit, a broken hidden blade, and several documents. Ezio delivers the letter containing evidence of the Auditore’s innocence to Uberto, who promises to defend them at their hearing, but claims to have received no such thing on that day, and the three Auditores are hanged. Swearing vengeance, Ezio meets Paola of the Courtesans, who is taking care of his mother, Maria, and sister, Claudia. Ezio is taught the elements of stealth, and meets with Leonardo da Vinci, who decrypts one of Ezio’s documents and uses it to repair his hidden blade. Ezio then proceeds to assassinate Uberto.

Now a wanted criminal, Ezio flees Florence with Maria and Claudia, heading to his family villa in the Tuscan countryside. While fending off an attack by Vieri Pazzi, he meets his uncle Mario and his mercenaries, who assist him. At the villa, Mario tells Ezio of his Assassin heritage, who had thought his father was simply a banker. Ezio is incredulous, and states his intention to flee to Italy, but Mario implores him to stay and fight the Pazzi and Templars, and trains him how to fight, while encouraging him to become an assassin.

After assassinating Vieri Pazzi, Ezio learns of additional conspirators involved in his father and brothers’ deaths. Mario introduces Ezio to various items in the villa, one being a set of armor belonging to Altaïr. He is also shown several pages of the Codex, one of which was what Leonardo had decrypted. Written by Altaïr, the Codex is a set of memoirs describing his experiences and thoughts after retrieving the Apple of Eden, and also contains designs and sketches of several things, such as a miniature firearm, and a new type of metal. Over the next decade, Ezio assassinates many of the conspirators, with the assistance of several new allies, and Leonardo’s developments, based on the designs from the Codex.

Eventually, Desmond is pulled out of the Animus, as Lucy calls it a day. She tests the retention of Desmond’s skills, and notes a great amount of progress, although Desmond is suffering from minor detrimental effects, such as brief hallucinations of the past. Desmond appears to black out and has an extended, vivid hallucination or dream of Altaïr pursuing Maria, a Templar who Altaïr had spared, and proceeding to romance her. Afterwards, Desmond expects to continue following Altaïr but the memory is now following Maria. Desmond wakes up, feeling confused.

Returning back into the Animus, Ezio continues his pursuit. Once nearly all of the conspirators are dead, only Rodrigo Borgia still remains, and was the center of the conspiracy. Ezio learns that Rodrigo has retrieved the Apple of Eden from Cyprus, and his men are delivering it to him. With all of Ezio’s past allies suddenly appearing, they aid Ezio in reclaiming the Apple of Eden, but Rodrigo flees. After the battle, Ezio learns that all of his allies are Assassins, and were all guiding him throughout his life. Although Rodrigo had called himself a prophet, the Assassins state that Ezio may be the prophet described in the Codex. Letting go of the idea of revenge, Ezio is officially inducted as an Assassin.

Some sort of problem occurs with the Animus, and several memories are skipped, lapsing forward to the year 1499. With the Apple of Eden, and the completed Codex, they locate the position of the “vault”, for which the prophet may find. The location is found to be in the Vatican, where Rodrigo Borgia has now become Pope Alexander VI. As Pope, Rodrigo also possesses the papal staff, another Piece of Eden. Ezio attempts to assassinate Rodrigo, but fails, and Rodrigo attempts to use the staff and the Apple of Eden to open the vault. Ezio intercepts him, sparing his life, and enters the vault instead.

Within the vault, Ezio encounters a hologram in the form of a woman. Ezio asks if they are gods, but she states that she is one of those “who came before” and was once known as “Minerva”, though she has had other names such as Merva, while others had Juno and Jupiter, formerly Uni and Tinia. Minerva explains that her brethren had formerly lived alongside humanity, and had evolved them. However, due to humanity’s violent and primitive ways, they eventually fell apart, with Minerva still continuing to wonder if they could live together. Ezio says that he is confused, but Minerva tells him to stay quiet; she is actually speaking through him, as he is the prophet. Minerva explains the occurrence of a disaster that destroyed their civilization, and that it will occur again. She directly addresses Desmond, saying that “The rest is up to you”. Greatly confused, Ezio questions who Desmond is, but the hologram fades, and the Animus is shut down.

Abstergo has located and attacked their hideout, prompting Shaun and Rebecca to pull Desmond out of the Animus. While the two pack everything, Lucy and Desmond try to buy time, with Desmond receiving an Assassin’s hidden blade and using it with great proficiency. Desmond confronts Vidic, but he flees, and the group evacuate to another safehouse. Lucy prepares to review the tapes of Desmond’s latest session, noting how the situation has escalated dramatically, and speculating on the possibility of an event such as the Sun’s Geomagnetic reversal. Rebecca prepares the Animus for Desmond to search for artifacts or clues that may help them.

During Desmond’s time in the Animus, he also encounters a series of out-of-place glyphs, located throughout his memories. The glyphs are found to be the same ones drawn on Desmond’s bedroom wall in Abstergo, and analysis reveals that they contain computer code, hidden in the Animus. “Subject 16″, the Animus user preceding Desmond, had placed the encrypted code as a message, and Lucy had taken this data along with the copy of the Animus’ memory. The encrypted code contains a great number of historical artworks, photographs, and messages, past and present, implicating a great number of prominent events and figures with the Templars, and Pieces of Eden. Unlocking all of the glyphs reveals a brief video, labeled with “Subject 16, Session 12, Classified Date B.C.E.” A man and woman rush through a garden-like area and a futuristic complex, with a glimpse of other people manufacturing something. On the roof of the complex, the woman holds up the Apple of Eden, and she and the man identify each other as Adam and Eve.

Gameplay in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 resembles that of Battlefield: Bad Company and takes place in the mountainous regions along the borders of Russia, among other places. Bad Company 2 will include locations in snowy mountains, dense jungles, and also sandy deserts within both story mode and multiplayer mode. The game allows players to play through missions using any tactics they choose. Like its predecessor, Bad Company 2 features destructible environments. However, more destruction is now possible; players can now completely destroy a building rather than just its walls. Bad Company 2 and Battlefield Vietnam are the only two games in the series to have blood in them without a third-party modification.

Multiplayer will allow players to choose from a set of weapon kits before each spawn, the number of which has been further reduced from Bad Company’s five down to four: “Assault,” “Engineer,” “Recon,” and “Medic,” removing the “Specialist” kit, whose compact assault rifle and C4 abilities have been split between the “Engineer” and “Recon” classes, respectively.[citation needed]

A customizable weapon selection menu is also new to the Bad Company series (similar to unlocks in Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142), giving players the choice of different ACOGs or reflex sights, including short or long barrel grenade launchers; these are also chosen before each match.

Each match will give players experience points, allowing them to level to multiple ranks as they did in the previous series. Experience points will be gained by each opponent killed and destroying the respective objectives. The points gained will be displayed in the screen.

A dog tag system coined from a similar system in Battlefield 2142 and Battlefield: Bad Company will allow players to collect an opponent’s tag when killing by melee.

There will be new vehicles in Bad Company 2, such as the UH-60 Black Hawk, a quad bike, a two-man patrol boat, and an AA-gun mounted on a light tank.

A “Prelude to E3″ developer diary was released on May 15, 2009. The developers confirmed that the combat system has been upgraded, with everything from the feel of the combat and the AI being improved, including realistic damage modeling and downed enemies still continuing to crawl and fight. New to the series is a heavy weapons system that will allow you to “kill [somebody] a thousand times” over. The tone of the game is similar to that of the Wild West, featuring warlords and crime gangs. The video also confirmed the existence of new alien races and an attack by one race on Citadel-controlled space, wearing armor with an “M1″ logo painted on it and seeming to control similarly armored varren, a race of non-sapient animals similar to dogs.

Mass Effect 2 also features regenerating health as its primary health mechanic, instead of being able to heal with “medi-gel” as in the first game. In addition, the overheat system for weapons have been replaced with collectible ammunition.

The characters in Mass Effect 2 will be more detailed not only graphically, but technically. In the original Mass Effect, Commander Shepard only had 20 animations for cover, while in Mass Effect 2, the character has over 200. The world will also be more open-ended in this installment; uncharted worlds the player could only explore for “cheap thrills” will now be more detailed and have more to explore.

The camera positioning for conversations with AI characters has also been improved, the previously static camera now moving around to provide “a much needed cinematic touch.”

A new vehicle will be introduced to replace the M35 Mako due to criticism of the Mako’s poor gameplay sections in the first game.

Transferring save-files

Casey Hudson, Project Director for BioWare, and Greg Zeschuk, BioWare co-founder, as well as various developers on the official Mass Effect message boards, have said that players should keep their Mass Effect save-files, because decisions made by the player in the first game will continue to have influences on their character in the sequel. Players who have not played the first Mass Effect will start a new character in Mass Effect 2, and will be brought up to speed on the story elements that have taken place thus far in the series. Hudson also states that characters from the previous game will come back, provided that they were not killed.

Character death

The first teaser trailer for this game gives the impression that Commander Shepard has been killed in action, but a later trailer shows that Shepard is still alive at the beginning of the game. Players themselves can dictate whether or not Shepard will die based on choices that they make throughout the game. BioWare Executive Producer Casey Hudson explained that “If you do die in the ending of Mass Effect 2, it will not come as a surprise, nor will it be random. It will be pretty obvious that you headed into the final mission knowing that Shepard probably wouldn’t make it out alive.” Hudson also confirmed that team members would be affected by the player’s decisions during the final mission: “You might have an ending where Shepard’s entire team survives, or where the entire mission is a bloodbath and everyone (including Shepard) is killed, or anything in between.” The ending in which Shepard is killed represents a permanent death, rather than one where the player simply reloads from the last saved game, meaning Shepard would not be available for Mass Effect 3 in that scenario.

The video game is set on Pandora, an alien planet moon featured in the motion picture. The game includes the Na’vi, Pandora’s indigenous people and other life forms. The player controls a marine named Lance Corporal Able Ryder. Soon into the game the player decides to play the RDA or Na’vi. If the player decides to join the Na’vi, the game becomes a third person adventure, and RDA characters are unplayable. Like Left 4 Dead, the sequel involves the aftermath of an apocalyptic pandemic. There has been an outbreak of a rabies-like pathogen that causes infected humans to behave like zombies. The four survivors have to fight their way through the hordes of infected, using safehouses along the way to rest and recover, in order to reach extraction points. Left 4 Dead 2 will be set in the Southern United States, starting in Savannah, Georgia and ending in New Orleans, Louisiana. The cast of Left 4 Dead has been replaced by 4 new survivors, whose backstory will again be provided through dialogue. Unlike the first game where there was no significant story development, Left 4 Dead 2 will feature a story arc. Three out of five planned campaigns have so far been announced: “Swamp Fever” which sees the survivors crossing vegetation-rich bayou, “The Parish” that takes place in proximity near a church, and “Dark Carnival” where the survivors must pass through a partially operating amusement park.

Gameplay

ARMA 2 is a tactical shooter with significant vehicle and aircraft elements. The player is able to command AI squad members which adds a real-time tactics element to the game. This is further enhanced by introduction of the high command system, which allows the player to command multiple squads using the map. ARMA 2 is set primarily in the fictional Eastern European nation of Chernarus, (meaning “Black Russia’”). The Chernarus landscape is based heavily on the Czech Republic, the home country of the developer. The original Operation Flashpoint (OFP) was developed by Bohemia Interactive Studios (who own the Real Virtuality engine) and published by Codemasters (who own the Operation Flashpoint brand). ArmA and ARMA 2 are the technological successors to OFP. Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is Codemasters’ independently-developed sequel.

Campaign

Harvest Red is set in autumn 2009 in a fictional post-Soviet country called Chernarus (Black Russia). The country is in a state of political unrest, with a western backed democratic government trying to hold onto power from pro-communist rebels. After many months of civil war, the communist rebels failed to overthrow the current government and set up the Socialist Republic of Chernarus. The Chernarussian government asks the west for help and the United States sends the U.S. Marine Corps via an Expeditionary Strike Group off the coast of Chernarus. The campaign starts when the U.S. Marine Corps’ Force Recon is deployed to Chernarus to quell the civil war.

Bohemia Interactive revealed during E3 that the game will have a “roleplaying feel to it”; with in-game events affecting the character as well as the entire campaign. An example would be terrorizing noncombatants and losing their trust, thus encouraging them to give away valuable information to enemy forces. The entire campaign can be played either offline (singleplayer) or online (cooperative play for up to four players).

Setting

The game takes place in autumn 2009 in the eastern part of a fictional post-Soviet state called Chernarus, particularly the region of South Zagoria and the remote island of Útes.

The area of approximately 225 km² is based on actual satellite photos of České Středohoří. All necessary data is loaded silently in the background, therefore the player is at no time interrupted by any loading screens while traveling through the terrain, though there are loading screens between episodes.

5. Copy over the arma2.exe form the Crack folder
   to where you have installed the game.

7. Play the game

The Saboteur is an oddity in the realm of World War II games. It follows a single man named Sean Devlin, (voiced by Robin Atkin Downes) who ends up fighting the Germans by sabotage, reminiscent of the French Resistance. A cross with a second, shorter bar above the first horizontal one of a normal cross is found in the trailer and website of the game. This is known as the Cross of Lorraine, which represents the FFF, or “Free French Forces” who fought against the Axis powers under Charles de Gaulle.

The game’s protagonist, (based on war hero William Grover-Williams), is an Irish man named Sean Devlin, a regular among the racing groups of Paris. Although the German Army’s grip over the area is becoming tighter everyday, he ignores their presence, until one by one his friends are killed by the Nazis, as seen in the early video preview.

This finally breaks Sean’s tolerance of the German presence, and he takes up arms against them to gain his revenge. In his quest he is assisted by the French Resistance and the British Intelligence.

The player will be able to explore Nazi-occupied Paris and some of the countryside.[1] Color will be a key element in the gameplay, and players will experience an Ōkami-esque style when entering certain parts of the city.[4] In order to make that district colored (”happy”) again, players must weaken the German forces occupying the area. In doing so, that district’s citizens will regain their hope, characterized by the “Will to Fight” (WtF) factor.[4] In areas with low WtF, the area is dark, with color being various shades of grey (with the exception of several German flags, bright red and complete with swastika), whereas in areas with high WtF, the area is vibrant and with full color.

WtF also affects gameplay, as in areas with low WtF, the area is filled with German soldiers who patrol in most places of the map in large numbers.
It is up to the player to return color to areas of darkness.

In areas with high WtF, the Germans will not be completely evicted, but they will no longer be everywhere at once, and will primarily be centered around military bases, barracks, police stations, HQs, and other strategically important areas. In addition, the French people will play an active role in the struggle for areas with high WtF. For example, if Sean, the main character, gets in a fight with German patrols, allies like the French Resistance, Maquis, and even French passersby will intervene against the occupiers.

The primary missions will revolve around exacting revenge on high-ranking German officers and officials, and getting to the point to be able to exact vengeance. However, the presence of secondary optional missions has also been confirmed. The effects will include access to new weapons and raising the WtF for certain regions.

Players will be able to navigate the environment with a dynamic set of moves, allowing for the use of different tactics in order to complete their objectives.
