Tribal Trouble 2 – browser-based MMORTS

March 18th, 2010 admin No comments

Site: http://www.tribaltrouble2.com/

Do you want to be a Viking? Do you want to govern a tribe and lead an adventurer’s life?

Tribal Trouble 2 is a real time strategy game with cool Vikings Theme. The game has several bad points but overall it is a fun and relaxing experience. I didn’t like the fact that most of the important upgrades need players to spend real money. Too much of them, I think.
Don’t get me wrong, Tribal Trouble 2 s a cool game with many nice features.

Lineage2 with free trial

February 11th, 2010 admin No comments

http://www.lineage2.com/freetrial

Lineage2 is one of the first and most awesome MMORPG games I’ve ever played. It has a fantasy world (the world of Aden), 36 classes, 6 races, countless quests, real castle sieges, real and fast PVP battles.
The game is pay to play and this is the only reason many people stay away of it but I think, it’s the only option for really fun gameplay.

I played Lineage 2 some time ago, in fact I spent more than a year, working during the day and playing during the night. This time was so fun, I haven’t played any other game with such enjoyment.

Aika, finally some good news

January 28th, 2010 admin No comments

Few days ago GPotato announced Aika’s closed beta is going to run from 3rd February to 9th February. More information about the closed beta can be found on the official website of the game http://aika.gpotato.com/.
The test will feature all 6 classes, 5 nations and 30 levels of character development.

Actually so many facts and rumors are spreading on the net that I can’t wait to try this game. I wonder why GPotato haven’t made it available yet. Aika is played in Korea for more than two years. I’ve heard that it has several gaming awards there.

In case you don’t know, Aika is beautiful, fantasy MMORPG that greatly emphasize on PVP or more likely RVR (Realm vs Realm) battles. The information about the game on the official site is too little and I don’t know Korean to learn more from their sites.

Edit: There is some fun information about the game on the official forum. And many, many fans. The community seems big and nice.

I found this mass video on youtube, I want to play this game!

JAMES CAMERON’S AVATAR THE GAME

January 16th, 2010 admin No comments

James Cameron's Avatar: The Game
The video game is set on Pandora, an alien planet moon featured in the motion picture. The game includes the Na’vi, Pandora’s indigenous people and other life forms. The player controls a marine named Lance Corporal Able Ryder. Soon into the game the player decides to play the RDA or Na’vi. If the player decides to join the Na’vi, the game becomes a third person adventure, and RDA characters are unplayable. If the player chooses to side with the RDA, the game remains a third person shooter, and Navi characters are unplayable. Both types of characters are equipped with their own particular weapons and abilities, with many other weapons and abilities unlockable as the player gains experience (XP) during the game.

Short list of upcoming games I want to play in 2010

January 2nd, 2010 admin No comments

With so many games under development gamers won’t be bored this year. I made a short list of games, coming out in 2010.

Aika
Aika is a 3D, fantasy MMORPG, published by GPotato. The game was announced for December but nothing happened. I’ve heard and read only rumors, but it is going to be PvP or RvR oriented MMORPG and I really want more random and mass PVP in the games I play. It looks similar to Lineage 2 and Aion but I can’t tell if it is as good as them without playing.

Kung Foo!
Perfect World Entertainment grabbed the gaming world attention with this parody MMORPG.
Are they serious? It may be only my curiosity but I want to try this game.

Mabinogi Heroes
Another good, Korean title. It is a fast-paced, action, real-time MMO with some features from its predecessor Mabinogi. Mabinogi Heroes will be room oriented like Rakion.

Heroes of Telara
Fantasy MMORPG, by Trion World Network. It looks promising on the trailers.

Guild Wars 2
Guild Wars 2 is a fantasy MMORPG by ArenaNet and a sequel of Guild Wars MMORPG.

Priston Tale 2
It is 3D MMORPG game published by Suba Games. The game will pay special attention to the PVP battles.

Star Trek Online

Warrior Epic

December 15th, 2009 admin No comments

Site: http://www.warriorepic.com/
Status: Free-to-Play

Warrior Epic is an action, 3D, fantasy MMORPG with not so usual gameplay. Players can lead an army of warriors through solo, PvP, or multiplayer adventures.

The game lacks the standard, persistent world used by must of the MMORPG games. It has a lobby, where players create and host games; team up with other players to fight in missions.

At the beginning you can play an easy, tutorial mission to grasp the controls and the gameplay.

The first chapter starts with six possible classes and later players unlock much more. Starting classes are: Assassin, Devotress, Dungeon Archer, Illusionist, Pangolan, and Pit Fighter.
New players start with Pit Fighter – somewhat boring character, relying on brute force and close combat.

Classes:

Hall
Each player has his own hall, where he can requite and equip warriors, prepare battle strategies. The halls are customizable, you can add more rooms, and artifacts.
